Come to our 40km training and 20km social ride and enjoy an amazing variety of
stunning terrain. Get your horses fit for the season ahead!
VENUE: 287 Featherstones Road, Upper Corindi, NSW.
DIRECTIONS: Turn off Pacific Highway 30km north of Coffs Harbour and 50km south of Grafton. Travel
14km in from the highway – signs on the highway will show you where to turn, and signs on
the roads direct into the ride base. Please note if coming from the south that Woolgoolga
is now bypassed. The turnoff to the ride base is shortly after the bypass rejoins the old highway.
FACILITIES: • Shady campsites on a very scenic working cattle property.
• If you bring your dogs they must be on a lead at all times.
• BYO drinking (human) water and horse yards. Plenty of horse water will be available.
• Basic canteen available all day from 8am.
COURSE: Upper Corindi is a scenic ride through hilly terrain with State Forest and private property,
spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and offshore islands. Here are some comments from
a couple of last year’s riders:

40km TRAINING RIDE ENTRY FEE $55
(+ $15 day membership for non-ERA riders): – office open for registration from 8.00am to 10.30am
– vetting from 8.30am
– ride starts 11am
– 6 hours maximum riding time – cut off 5pm
– medallion for all successful finishers
20km SOCIAL RIDE ENTRY FEE $35
(+ $15 day membership for non-ERA riders): – office open for registration from 8.00am to 10.30am
– Introductory Talk from 10.45am*
– vetting from 11am
– ride starts 1pm
– 4 hours maximum riding time – cut off 5pm
– completion ribbon for all successful finishers
These times may change on the day depending on conditions. To do the Training or Social rides, you must either be
a member of QLD or NSW ERA or pay a day membership of $15. PRE-NOMINATION by February 20, 2015.
* Prior to vetting of the 20km Social Ride there will be a talk on ‘Introduction to Endurance Riding’ presented by the vets
and some Club members.
