Australia’s top young dressage riders are currently aiming to qualify for the country’s most prestigious international dressage competition, the 2017 Sydney CDI***.

The focus has switched to the next generation of the nation’s dressage riders in the post-Olympic year, and Sydney CDI – taking place from April 27 to 29 at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) – is the perfect platform to showcase our best young riders.

German 5* judge Katrina Wuest will again travel to Australia to officiate as FEI Foreign judge for the April 27 to 29 event at Sydney International Equestrian Centre, and is hoping this year will reveal a star of the future.

Warm weather welcomed day three of EQUITANA Melbourne as crowds flocked to the showgrounds for another jam-packed day of equestrian action. Saturday, or as it has been referred to in recent years as “Dressage Day”, continued the form of EQUITANA’s previous two days by showcasing a program that was bursting at the seams with talent, education and elite competition.

It was another beautiful day in Melbourne for Day Two of EQUITANA, which saw crowds arriving in droves for an action-packed schedule of competition, education and shopping galore.

With EQUITANA Melbourne well and truly underway, Friday saw a diverse program from Show jumping to Barrel Racing to the always entertaining Couples Challenge. The flood of spectators lived through every turn, twist, jump and weave that the day had to offer.
