Competition has been fierce at the second day (Thursday, April 7) of Australia’s most prestigious international dressage event, the 2016 Sydney CDI***.

World Equestrian Games (WEG) representative Brett Parbery from NSW took out the first competition of the day, the Jilli Cobcroft Prix St Georges (CDI 3*) , on Jane Farrell’s chestnut gelding, Larenso, with 71.16 per cent ahead of fellow NSW rider Daniella Dierks on her own Solo Feliz with 70.11 per cent.

GET READY, as a distinguished list of international judges will be making their way to Sydney to officiate at the Sydney CDI 2016.

Our very own, Susie Hoevenaars (FEI 5* Judge) will be heading up this international contingent as the Chairman of the Sydney CDI Ground Jury. In a recent interview at Clarendon, Susie was enthusiastic about her role “it should be a fantastic event. I’m really looking forward to it and our riders are improving – so it will be really exciting”.

Coffs Harbour & Districts Riding for the Disabled will be holding an Open Day on the 18th October 2015. Coffs Harbour Riding for the Disabled runs out of Valery Trails Riding School, located at 758 Valery Road, Valery. If you take the Glennifer Road (via Bonville) and follow the signs to the centre. The bridge located on Valery road on the Repton side is closed for repairs at the moment, so please come via Glennifer road.
